The Practical Training and Designation in Marine & Longshore Insurance. To obtain your C.M.I.P. designation, you must attend each of the four sections; Fundamentals of Marine Insurance, Recreational Marine, Insuring Marine Employees and Commercial Marine; and successfully pass a short test at the end of each.
